The Big Potato.store

What we collect, and what we don’t.

This policy describes Version 1 of TheBigPotato.store. It is written in ordinary language. It is not a guarantee of perfect anonymity.

Sender identity

We do not ask for your name or email when you send a potato. The recipient-facing email does not include a sender identity.

Recipient information

We need the recipient’s email address and your message in order to deliver the gift. Those details are sent to our email provider when delivery is enabled. This site does not store them in browser local storage.

What we cannot hide

Hosting companies, email providers, and similar infrastructure may keep operational records such as logs, timestamps, and delivery metadata. We do not control those systems, their security, or their retention rules. Internet delivery is not perfectly private, and we cannot promise complete anonymity or prevent every third party from processing a delivery.

Your responsibility

Only send an address and message that you are allowed to use. Do not use the service for harassment, scams, threats, spam, or private information. We may block or review activity when needed to protect recipients, the service, or the law.

Cookies and accounts

Version 1 has no customer accounts and no advertising pixels. The site may use cookies that your browser or hosting platform requires to function.

Questions and reports

For general questions, email hello@thebigpotato.store. For support or abuse reports, email support@thebigpotato.store with the approximate time, recipient address if you have it, and a short description.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. The current version will always be posted on this page.
